Stylish VTG 14k Gold Swirl Beaded Necklace

Description

Presented is a stylish 14 karat gold beaded necklace. This is an American
piece, likely made in the 1960s-1980s. The necklace consists of alternating oval
and round beads with a swirled ribbed texture, with smooth spacer beads between.
These beads are strung on a fine 14 karat gold chain. The necklace closes with a
springring style clasp.
The necklace is in great overall condition. Two of the beads have been
slightly crushed, but this is very hard to notice. Please let the photos guide
your judgement. Other than those two, the beads are in great shape. The clasp
functions well and closes securely.
The necklace is not stamped or hallmarked anywhere that we can see. We have
tested the necklace and the clasp with nitric acid and guarantee the entirety to
be 14 karat gold.
The round beads are 7 mm, the oval beads are 6 by 8.7 mm.
The necklace is about 19 inches long.
The necklace weighs 12.1 grams.
