Carl Dau ? Long Cable Wire Necklace With Metal Squares

I believe this is a Carl Dau necklace but I can't be sure.  It is a very long, lightweight, cable wire necklace with square metal detail.  This is in used, scratched condition but still really cool!  It can be adjusted in many different ways to create many different looks. This is hard to measure but if worn where all the squares fell evenly together it is about 24 inches from the top to the bottom.  If I measure from the longest square around the entire necklace it is almost 48 inches long.
